PostFinance adjusts interest rates on savings and retirement savings accounts

The Swiss National Bank (SNB) lowered its policy rate from 1.25% to 1.00% on 26 September 2024. This is already the third policy rate cut by the SNB this year. PostFinance is responding to this by lowering the interest rate on savings accounts, the 3a retirement savings account and the vested benefits account as of 1 November 2024.

The adapted interest rates will come into effect automatically; customers do not need to do anything. The existing interest rates continue to apply to the other accounts.

The SNB will conduct its next monetary policy assessment on 12 December 2024. PostFinance monitors developments on an ongoing basis. PostFinance will provide information promptly in the event of further modifications.
