PostFinance reduces interest rates on savings and retirement savings accounts

The Swiss National Bank (SNB) lowered its policy rate from 1.75% to 1.5% on 21 March 2024 and from 1.5% to 1.25% on 20 June 2024. PostFinance is responding to this by lowering the interest rates on savings accounts, the retirement savings account 3a and the vested benefits account as of 1 August 2024.

The adapted interest rates will come into effect automatically; customers do not need to do anything. For other ac-count types, existing interest rates will continue to apply.

The SNB will conduct its next monetary policy assessment on 26 September 2024. PostFinance monitors developments on an ongoing basis. PostFinance will provide information promptly in the event of further modifications.
