For e-asset management, investment consulting plus, fund consulting basic and fund self-service.
Participation in the prize draw for 10 x 5,000 francs organized by PostFinance Ltd (hereinafter PostFinance) is subject to the following conditions. By making an investment of at least 5,000 francs during the promotion period, participants accept these conditions of participation.
- All PostFinance customers resident in Switzerland who open one of the following investment solutions between 30 September 2024 and 30 November 2024 and invest at least 5,000 francs (net) are eligible to take part in the prize draw: e-asset management, investment consulting plus, fund consulting basic, fund self-service.
- All PostFinance customers with an existing investment solution (e-asset management, investment consulting plus, fund consulting basic, fund self-service) who invest at least an additional 5,000 francs between 30 September 2024 and 30 November 2024 are also eligible to take part in the prize draw.
- The invested 5,000 francs apply per investment solution, and it is not possible to split the amount between several investment solutions.
- The investment solution must be active for at least three months, until 28 February 2025, and the capital must be invested. All the capital invested during the special offer period is valid, regardless of price fluctuations, and minus any redemptions.
- 10 x 5,000 francs can be won in the prize draw.
- No cash prizes will be awarded. The winners will be informed by post. Prizes cannot be transferred to third parties.
- Each customer (per customer base) can participate in the prize draw once only and has the opportunity to win a total of 10 x 5,000 francs, with a maximum of 1 x 5,000 francs.
- The winners will be drawn at the beginning of March, and any prize won will be paid into your investment account for the e-asset management or investment consulting plus investment solution or to your reference account for the fund consulting basic or fund self-service investment solution. If the credit account is not in the currency of the promotion, the payment will be made to an account in Swiss francs where possible.
- The prize money is subject to income tax and withholding tax, which means that the winner must declare the amount in their tax return. Winners are also obliged to provide PostFinance with a residence certificate within 60 days, and we will then forward this to the Federal Tax Administration. Winners will not be able to claim their prize if they do not send the residence certificate to PostFinance. The winners understand and agree that the details of the prize win (amount and personal details) will be reported to the Federal Tax Administration (FTA) via a reporting form (as per Art. 20a of the WTA).
- All winners have the right to refuse the prize. In this event, the person must contact our Customer Center on +41 58 448 14 14.
- Following the closing date, PostFinance will draw the winners by random selection from all participants. The prize draw will take place at the beginning of March 2025 and will be closed to the public. PostFinance will inform the winners in writing within ten days.
- To the extent permitted by law, PostFinance excludes any liability in connection with the competition.
- PostFinance may modify these conditions of participation at any time. PostFinance reserves the right to terminate the prize draw at any time without advance notice and without giving a reason. In the event of suspected fraud or misuse, breach of these conditions of participation or other similar conduct, PostFinance may exclude individual persons from the prize draw without stating reasons. If participants are excluded or if the prize draw is discontinued, there will be no right to claim for payment or compensation.
- PostFinance will enter into no correspondence regarding the prize draw. Participants have no right to information. Any right of appeal is excluded. The prize draw is subject to Swiss law. The sole place of jurisdiction is Bern.
