Anna Rossinelli and Bernhard Heusler both have fascinating, though very different, life paths. Rossinelli is at home in the cultural scene as a singer-songwriter and has achieved success in the entertainment and music industries. She has a young daughter. Heusler has transitioned from a corporate lawyer to FCB president, and then to coach, speaker, and author. He is married and has two adult children. Although their life stories and daily routines differ, they share an important commonality: they both face significant decisions, which they don’t make without their families.

At the RealTalk Live event on Thursday, October 22, in Basel, singer-songwriter Anna Rossinelli and FCB honorary president Bernhard Heusler discussed the topic "Decisions in Life – How do Partnership and Family Influence Them?"
Important life decisions cannot be made by older generations. Their advice is valuable, as is their experience. But you have to make the decision yourself, with the courage, confidence, and passion that characterize young people.
Bernhard Heusler
Decisions should be made with the heart, not with the head. You can always turn back or move forward. But the feeling of having missed out on something is much harder to shake.
Anna Rossinelli
At the Basel RealTalk, they spoke with moderator Viola Tami about what matters most to them when making big decisions. How do they, as a couple, take the next steps in life? Which decisions were particularly difficult? And how do they find compromises?
Deciding to replace my career as a corporate lawyer and partner in a law firm with an engagement for the football club was the most difficult professional decision of my life. It was very helpful not to make the decision alone, but with my family and a friend (Georg Heitz) who accompanied me on this path.

I released an album shortly after my daughter was born. One day after her birth, I even released a single. My partner teased me: 'Who comes up with such a crazy idea?' For me, it made perfect sense.
