Conditions of participation

Participation in the prize draw for 4 x 2 ice hockey tickets organized by PostFinance Ltd (hereinafter PostFinance) is subject to the conditions outlined below. By subscribing to the newsletter during the period from 1 December to 30 December 2024, participants accept these conditions of participation.

  • To take part in the prize draw, participants must subscribe to the investment newsletter and complete and send off the displayed participation form.
  • Each participant can enter the weekly prize draw only once. If the contact form is completed more than once, only one subscription to the newsletter and one opportunity to win will be taken into account per participant. Participation is free of charge.
  • The competition is open to all natural persons aged 18 or over who are permanently resident in Switzerland.
  • We are giving away 4 x 2 ice hockey tickets (1 x 2 tickets for HC Ambri-Piotta on Saturday, 01.02.2025) (1 x 2 tickets for HC-Lausanne on Tuesday, 11.02.2025) (1 x 2 tickets for SCB on Saturday, 15.02.2025) (1 x 2 tickets for ZSC Lions Frauen on Thursday, 13.02.2025). You must indicate on the entry form which tickets you wish to enter the competition for.
  • No cash prizes will be awarded. Prizes cannot be transferred to third parties.
  • The winners will be drawn at random by PostFinance after the closing date. The prize draw will be closed to the public. The winners will be informed by e-mail between 6 January and 10 January 2025. All winners have the right to refuse the prize.
  • Once notified, winners will forfeit their prize if they do not come forward within ten days. In such an event, PostFinance will transfer the prize to a different participant.
  • PostFinance may modify these conditions of participation at any time. PostFinance reserves the right to terminate the prize draw at any time without advance notice and without giving a reason. In the event of suspected fraud or misuse, breach of these conditions of participation or other similar conduct, PostFinance may exclude individual persons from the prize draw without stating reasons. If participants are excluded or if the prize draw is discontinued, there will be no right to claim for payment or compensation.

Data protection

  • Participants are required to provide their personal details to take part in the prize draw. The participant confirms that the personal details they have provided, in particular the first name, last name and e-mail address, are truthful and accurate.
  • All personal data relating to participants will be stored and used only for the purposes of organizing and implementing the competition as well as subscribing them to the newsletter automatically. The participant is free to withdraw from the prize draw or unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
  • PostFinance would like to state that personal information relating to participants will not be passed on to third parties or made available for use without the participant’s consent. 

Bank client confidentiality

  • The participant releases PostFinance from bank client confidentiality with regard to data that is necessary for contacting the participant in the course of the competition or data that is forwarded to third parties.
  • In addition, it cannot be ruled out that a possible banking relationship with PostFinance may be indicated by sending e-mails. By providing their
    e-mail address, the participant expressly agrees to communication via unsecured e-mail and waives bank client confidentiality in this regard.

Liability and final provisions

To the extent permitted by law, PostFinance excludes any liability in connection with the competition. Once the material prize has been sent to the winners, the prize draw is deemed completed and PostFinance is not responsible for its performance or redemption with third parties. If the winners have any questions about the prize, they should contact the relevant supplier. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the prize draw. Participants have no right to information. Any right of appeal is excluded. The prize draw is subject to Swiss law. The sole place of jurisdiction is Bern.
