POS Payment made easy

With the Checkout All-in-One back office tool, the POS Payment Module offers you a choice of the most common payment methods for in-store sales. The back office tool helps you to keep track of all transactions. With just one contract, you can offer your customers the most important card payment options. We take care of the administrative effort and coordination with the acceptance partner Wallee/SnapSwap for you.

Requirements for successful integration

In order for us to be able to offer you our point-of-sale module, the following requirements must be met:

  • To operate the card terminal and the corresponding software, you need a compatible PAX card terminal from our terminal shop.
  • In order for Checkout All-in-One to be able to invoice the transaction costs for the POS Payment Module, you must store a PostFinance business account or a valid credit card.
  • You need a company identification number (UID).

Order pay terminals for the POS Payment Module and set them up yourself

Order the PAX card terminal that’s right for you in our online shop. After receiving the device, you can simply scan the QR code on the enclosed flyer and configure your payment terminal in a few steps with the help of the set-up wizard. 

Process your first payments within five working days

One of the biggest advantages of the POS Payment Module: we take care of coordination with the payment partner Wallee/SnapSwap. Simply start the activation process online. Provided you have submitted your documents in full, you’ll receive confirmation from us within five working days that all payment methods have been activated and are ready for live payments – then you can get started right away!

When you conclude a contract for a Checkout All-in-One POS Payment Module with us, you cover the most important card payment providers all at once – with transparent prices and billing included. This allows you to offer the following card payments at the point of sale:

  • Visa (debit and credit)
  • Mastercard® (debit and credit)
  • Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay

  • No. You must cancel the Checkout All-in-One module first. However, before cancelling the Checkout All-in-One POS Payment Module for the switch, we recommend that you first configure everything in the Checkout Flex POS Payment Module. This will ensure that there are no interruptions when switching your in-store payment systems.  

  • In the Checkout All-in-One POS Payment Module, PostFinance concludes the contract with the acceptance partners. For the Checkout Flex POS Payment Module, you conclude separate contracts with the relevant acceptance partners. 

  • For the terminals to be activated, an active subscription to the Checkout All-in-One POS module or POS Payment Flex is required. In addition, a PostFinance business account or a credit card is also required for the monthly subscription fees.

  • With Support Plus and an active Checkout subscription, we provide support for day-to-day issues beyond our free basic support.

    The following value-added services are included:

    • Telephone: priority handling with a separate phone number
    • E-mail: response time of max. six hours 

    For queries about the development of your payment solution:

    • Two hours of video sessions within 12 months
    • You can arrange a timeslot for the video session to meet your needs (business hours and availability) in advance
    • Outside opening hours on request
