Initial provision

Participation in the prize draw organized by PostFinance Ltd (hereinafter PostFinance) is subject to the conditions outlined below. By entering the competition, participants accept these conditions of participation. 

How the prize draw works

The prize draw will run from 19 August to 31  October 2024. Within this time frame, participants will have the opportunity to take part in the prize draw. In order to take part in the prize draw, participants must take out a new car insurance policy with TONI Digital Insurance Solutions AG via PostFinance by 31  October 2024, and fill out and submit the entry form displayed (please note that insurance cover does not have to start by 31  October , but can also begin later than 31  October ). 

Participation

Each participant can only enter the prize draw once. Participating more than once is not permitted. Participation is free of charge.

Eligibility to participate

The prize draw is open to all natural persons aged 20 and over who are permanently resident in Switzerland who take out a car insurance policy with TONI Digital Insurance Solutions AG via PostFinance by 31  October 2024.

In particular in cases of suspected fraud or misuse, or if these conditions of participation or public morals are violated, PostFinance reserves the right to exclude individual persons from the prize draw without having to state a reason. Furthermore, the conditions of participation may be amended or the prize draw may be discontinued without having to state a reason. If participants are excluded or if the prize draw is discontinued, there will be no right to claim for payment or compensation.

Prizes

The following prizes are available:

• five fuel vouchers in the form of Migrolino gift cards, valid throughout Switzerland. In total, five winners will be chosen, each of whom will receive a gift card.

No cash prizes will be awarded. Prizes cannot be transferred to third parties.

Determining the winners

The winners will be drawn at random by PostFinance after the closing date. The prize draw will be closed to the public. The winners will be informed via e-mail within 30 days. All winners have the right to refuse the prize. In this case, the person should contact bancassurance@postfinance.ch.

Once notified, winners will forfeit their prize if they do not come forward within three weeks. In such an event, PostFinance will transfer the prize to a different participant. 

Amendments to the participation rules and cancellation of the prize draw

These conditions of participation may be altered by PostFinance at any time. PostFinance reserves the right to terminate the prize draw at any time without advance notice and without giving a reason. 

Data protection

All personal data relating to participants will be stored and used only for the purposes of organizing and implementing the competition. Participants are required to provide their personal details to take part in the prize draw. The participant confirms that the personal details they have provided, in particular first name, last name and e-mail address, are truthful and accurate.

TONI Digital Insurance Solutions AG will forward the policyholder’s details to PostFinance in order to compare and check that the conditions of participation have been met. 

Once the winners have been successfully contacted, the details of all participants held by PostFinance will be deleted. The participant is free at any time to withdraw from the prize draw. In this case, the person should contact bancassurance@postfinance.ch.

PostFinance would like to state that personal information relating to participants will not be passed on to third parties or made available for use without the participant’s consent. 

Liability and final provisions

To the extent permitted by law, PostFinance excludes any liability in connection with the competition. Once the material prize has been sent to the winners, the prize draw is deemed completed and PostFinance is not responsible for its performance or redemption with third parties. If the winner has any questions about the prize, they should contact the relevant supplier. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the prize draw. Participants have no right to information. Any right of appeal is excluded. The prize draw is subject to Swiss law. The sole place of jurisdiction is Bern.
