Manage and approve electronic payment orders (EPO) in the PostFinance App

At the end of November 2024, comprehensive EPO functions will be available in the PostFinance App. It’s worth updating your app version in the App Store (for iOS) or in the Google Play Store (for Android).

The app update includes the following changes:

  • Use the existing notification feature (bell icon) in the PostFinance App to go directly to the EPO approval overview within the app.
  • EPOs can be approved quickly and easily by selecting “All debit accounts” or “Per debit account” and approving “individual”, “multiple” or “all” EPOs.
  • EPOS that have already been approved can be managed in the EPO order overview as follows: delete individual payments from an EPO or delete the entire EPO or change the EPO due date.
  • Note: if you do not use EPO for file submission yet, you must complete one-time activation of the service in e-finance. You can do this as follows: Settings and Profile > My services > Transfer files > click the “Activate” button. Then you can upload the EPO files to e-finance, but not in the PostFinance App. There, you have the approval and management options as previously described – similar to the functions in e-finance.
