Existing customers

Existing customers who apply for a credit card or prepaid card from PostFinance between 2 September and 6 October 2024 will receive CHF 100 credited directly to their own PostFinance account by the end of December 2024 following the successful verification of their application. The offer only applies to existing customers who already havean account with PostFinance on 1 September 2024. The offer does not apply to second cards or to upgrades to existing credit cards and is valid only once when applying for a credit card or prepaid card during the specified time period. The offer does not apply to existing customers who cancel existing cards and apply for a new card after the publication of this campaign. The amount will be credited once per person (and not per card). To be eligible to participate, entrants must be persons who are permanently resident in Switzerland and are aged 12 and over (for prepaid cards) or 18 and over (for credit cards).

The credit of CHF 100 to the PostFinance account is only granted when the credit or prepaid card is active at the time of the payment.

In order to receive the account credit when applying for a credit card or prepaid card, the application must be successfully verified after submission during the specified time period. The requirements for credit card and prepaid card applications are listed below.

New customers

Preconditions for applying for a credit card or prepaid card

A banking package at PostFinance is required to apply for a credit card or prepaid card from PostFinance. When applying for a credit card or prepaid card, a PostFinance banking package is therefore opened automatically if the applicant does not yet have a PostFinance account.

The price for a banking package (The link will open in a new window banking packages for adults / The link will open in a new window Banking packages for young people and students up to the age of 30) and for the paper-based option  With the paper option, you receive all account statements, interest statements and/or credit card statements on paper, manage your payment orders on paper or change your standing orders, for the cost of CHF 5 per month. applies per customer relationship. A customer relationship can include several accounts. The fees are charged monthly.

Credit card and prepaid card contact point

It makes no difference whether the credit card or prepaid card is applied for online via postfinance.ch, in a PostFinance branch or in a Swiss Post branch. All private customers who take out a credit card or prepaid card between 2 September and 6 October 2024 will receive the credit.

Any right of appeal is excluded. The sole place of jurisdiction is Bern.
